About Our Partnership
Psychologists and other healthcare providers may earn five continuing education credits for reading volumes from the Advances in Psychotherapy − Evidence-Based Practice series and taking a multiple choice exam. This continuing education program is a partnership of Hogrefe Publishing and the National Register of Health Service Psychologists.
The Book Series
The series Advances in Psychotherapy−Evidence-Based Practice provides practical evidence-based guidance on the diagnosis and treatment of the most common disorders seen in clinical practice—and does so in a uniquely reader-friendly manner.
Members of the National Register receive a 15% discount on the books using the code NATREG17.
The Exams
Earn 5 CE credits for each volume of the Advances in Psychotherapy book series. The National Register of Health Service Psychologists is approved by the American Psychological Association to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. The National Register maintains responsibility for this program and its content.
National Register members can take these exams free of charge, along with additional CE offerings. Nonmembers can purchase each exam for $25 or access to the entire series of exams for $200.

The National Register of Health Service Psychologists is the largest credentialing organization for psychologists. Established in 1974, the independent nonprofit organization is dedicated to improving healthcare by identifying psychologists who meet specific credentialing standards to consumers, healthcare organizations, and regulatory bodies.
