Clients With Neurodevelopmental Concerns (Archived)

Harriet Greenstone, MA, OPQ, PhD

This webinar explores some of the complicated cases and syndrome mixes of those who present with a variety of cognitive, neurodevelopmental, and emotional issues. Specific examples include AuDHD (Autism & ADHD), Twice Exceptionality, “Triple A” (Autism, ADHD, Anxiety), Pathological Demand Avoidance, Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria, Nonverbal Learning Disorder (NLD), as well as ADHD, ASD, Intermittent Explosive Disorder (IED), and Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD). Suggestions around the use and abuse of labels, comorbidities and syndrome mixes, and formal (DSM) and informal (social media) diagnostic ‘practices’ are highlighted.
