Description
Ethical and legal standards require psychologists to have an emergency practice plan in place, in case of therapist incapacitation or death. This practical workshop addresses the clinical and business considerations in creating a comprehensive Professional Will and selecting a Practice Executor capable of fulfilling your wishes. Several accessible solutions will be presented to ensure ethical compliance, protect patients from the risks of traumatic termination, and spare colleagues and family from unnecessary burden. Lived experience and clinical vignettes inform guidelines.
