Description
This 3-hr webinar will explore Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches for treating anxiety in children and adolescents. Participants will learn key cognitive and behavioral strategies, with particular emphasis on exposure and response prevention (ERP) techniques. Case examples will be presented to illustrate and deepen understanding of these methods.

Elizabeth Malesa, PhD, is a licensed psychologist who specializes in evidence-based treatments including CBT and ERP for children with a variety of clinical presentations including anxiety, OCD, and autism. She is a Managing Director at Alvord, Baker, & Associates, a large private practice committed to evidence-based practice in the greater Washington DC area that serves children and adults. Dr. Malesa is also an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University and an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor George Washington University.
