After the Acute Phase of Coronavirus - What Comes Next (Archived)

Jana N. Martin, PhD; Morgan T. Sammons, PhD, ABPP; Alex M. Siegel, JD, PhD

Although it’s too early to know for certain, many states and communities are planning to lift at least some physical distancing measures in the near future. We are offering this webinar to provide psychologists with regulatory, risk management, and clinical insight into how to deal with what happens next. From a regulatory perspective, Dr. Burnetti-Atwell, CEO of ASPPB, will discuss how jurisdictions are likely to handle changes in practice in a post-crisis environment. Dr. Jana Martin, CEO of The Trust, will discuss how malpractice insurance and risk management issues need to be considered, and Dr. Morgan Sammons, EO of the National Register, will address pragmatics of returning to the office environment in terms of safety, staff management, and helping educate patients regarding PTSD, grief, and other delayed psychological responses.
